**YOUR finished Clock Dome will NOT look like anyone else's**

For this class, you will need to bring a clock dome (we can purchase one for you, but if you use your 40% off coupon at Hobby Lobby it will cost you less than if we provide it). If you need us to purchase one for you, please phone or email us so we can have it on hand for you. These come in several sizes; whatever size you prefer, will be fine for the class.

    https://www.hobbylobby.com/Home-Decor-Frames/Decor-Pillows/Accent-Pieces/Glass-Clock-Dome-with-Base/p/80827902

In this class, you will learn the basic techniques of working in small scales. We will have a variety of wee decorative items from which you can choose, so **EVERY DOME WILL BE UNIQUE!!**

We will cover the basics of:

    • planning your scene
    • basic tools & supplies you will find most useful
    • considerations when working in small scale
    • landscaping
    • depending on what you decide to create, we will also cover one or more of: windows/doors, painting/wallpapering walls, clapboard siding, shingles

This is an introductory-level class, as opposed to making a specific item with a specific look.

Class fee includes materials needed to decorate the clock dome, but NOT THE DOME. To add the dome to the class fee will be an additional $20+tax

Feel free to bring any decorative items you would like to use. Materials you bring should be in a consistent scale, typically (we are not scale purists, so if you are doing a mixed-scale piece, we are totally fine with that!)

We recommend taking this class as a pre-requisite to the 2019 Miniatures Series.

While there will be some similarities due to furniture and other items in common, this is an intermediate class, and will likely result in a unique product for each student.

Class fee includes the shadow box and some of the materials needed to decorate it.  Please bring any special items you wish to include - and any fabric or wallpaper swatches - with you, so we can plan for their inclusion.

Materials you bring should be in a consistent scale, typically (we are not scale purists, so if you are doing a mixed-scale piece, we are totally fine with that!)
